Black Elephant Leather Scales - Knafs Lander 2

Welcome to the first drop for our Knafs Lander 2 Exotic Leather Scales! The lineup for this drop includes Blue, Purple, and Black Elephant Leather Scales! 

This classy variation is our Black Elephant Leather Scales. Our Black Elephant leather is a closed grain leather, meaning it will be more resistant to wear from normal use. They have a smooth but textured feel that slides easily in and out of the pocket while still giving you enough grip to do work with your knife. These Black Elephant Leather Scales are perfect for those who want a more classic, formal look for their knife. Much like our other exotic leather scales, the feel stands out from anything else commonly found on the market.

These scales have natural variation in grain and markings, making each set a totally unique pair. Our Lander 2 scales have a slightly increased thickness and perimeter, making the knife feel more full and comfortable in the hand. Due to the increased scale thickness, the lock bar sits about flush with the face of the scales, so we widened the hole around the lock bar for easier access. We also slightly rounded the butt of the scales to allow the leather to lay more naturally and reduce “puckering.” Our exotic leather is permanently bonded to a custom-designed 3D printed base plate made of high-quality PETG polymer.

These scales use your stock Knafs Lander 2’s hardware (they do not include extras), and they have been test fitted using stock screws. Due to the thickness of the leather, the hardware will be slightly recessed below the top surface of the scale. Please note that these products are only available for shipment within the United States.
